Synagogue

With the founding of Vilnius in 1323, a lot of Jews came to Vilnius.  For a long time the city became an international centre  of Jewish culture. The synagogue shown was built in 1905.
Na de stichting van Vilnius in 1323 kwamen er veel Joden naar Vilnius. Voor een hele tijd was de stad een internationaal centrum van Joodse Cultuur. De getoonde synagoge werd gebouwd in 1905.
